
Thank you to all Beach Park Community for coming out on Saturday, March 16th, to our annual Multicultural Festival. We had a wonderful time celebrating our diverse community, tasting a variety of different foods, watching live performances and being able to see our students creativity through their art work.











2nd grade students in Ms. Sanchez's room took their solids, liquids, and gases test, and read on Epic when they finished!

5th grade students in Ms. Lukas's class were working on poetry today with partners. Students also worked on writing their own poems.





4th grade students in Ms. Strathmann's class were learning about the first people of Illinois, as they start their new social studies unit!




2nd grade students made Leprechaun traps, and invited the whole school to come check them out today! Students worked really hard on their traps, and they turned out amazing!!




Reminder: The Multicultural Event is tomorrow at Beach Park Middle School, 9 am - 2 pm. This is a FREE event for residents of Beach Park District 3. We hope to see you there!



Early Childhood students made rainbows today out of fruit loops, and marshmallows! Students had so much fun making these!





2nd grade students in Mrs. McGee's class were working really hard on their tests today!




Students in Ms. Zubeck's class were learning how to count coins with dimes, and pennies today! Students loved learning how to count money!




Students in Mrs. Campbell's class were working hard during their reading time today. Students were practicing their reading, and writing!




First grade students in Mrs. Brockway's class were doing a Calm Classroom activity.
Calm Classroom teaches students about mindfulness, and students look forward to doing it daily.


Students in our Early Childhood program did yoga today! Students had so much fun!




Today was our monthly SIP day! We started with our PBIS assembly focusing on hallway behavior, and crowning our February students of the month. We ended the day with our book buddies!






March at Zion-Benton Public Library

Students at Oak Crest had a blast during Fun Friday tonight! Students got to watch a movie, play in the gym, play video and board games, and make arts and crafts! Students and staff had so much fun!








5th grade students in Ms. Lukas's class presented their diorama's of different spheres of Earth. Students worked really hard, and the dioramas turned out great!






Kindergarten students practiced writing their sight words outside with chalk! Students loved doing their learning outside!



1st grade students in Mrs. Brockway's class were having fun exploring shapes with hands on centers! Students had so much fun exploring, and creating with shapes!






2nd and 3rd grade students were rehearsing for their music concert, that's coming up this week!
