
Thank you to all Beach Park Community for coming out on Saturday, March 16th, to our annual Multicultural Festival. We had a wonderful time celebrating our diverse community, tasting a variety of different foods, watching live performances and being able to see our students creativity through their art work.











Mrs. Maki's class said that "today was the best day ever!" Her class won the pizza party for having the most 5 Essentials Survey filled out at the Parent/Teacher conferences.

Mrs. Rodriguez' students had two very special readers/teachers today! Bader and Basim did a fabulous job teaching her class all about Ramadan.






This morning, your Newport Staff who were outside for morning drop offs/bus supervision were blessed with seeing an eagle flying around over the school yard and the pond & the Des Plaines River!!! 🦅 It flew gracefully and left us in such awe! Happy 1st day of Spring!!!!!





Last Friday, Bader participated in the Lake County Spelling Bee. Mrs. Bennett joined him and said that he was the perfect representation of Newport. Great job, Bader!

Mrs. Babington and 5th grade students gave a wonderful performance at the Multicultural Festival.

Former Newport librarian and friend Mrs. Rose, shared a story with Mrs. Gorski’s first grade students today about springtime and the importance of seeing beauty in external differences.
