Mrs. Maki's class enjoying Chalk Day!







Kindergarten began their Plants and Animals unit by introducing a classroom ant farm! The students were thrilled to welcome their new class pets. They began working on ant observation journals that will keep track of the work the ants do each day.





1st grade enjoying the warmer weather & celebrating Chalk Day!



Mrs. Smith’s artist are rolling paper to create handmade beads. The artist will use the beads to create either necklaces or bracelets.






Mrs. Galvan’s 2nd grade artists learned the difference between 2 dimensional (flat) vs 3 dimensional (not flat). Then they created 3 dimensional sculptures out of Play-Doh.

Dr. Garris read the book "A Few Beautiful Moments, Experiencing A Solar Eclipse" to Mrs. Squires's class. It was the perfect way to end our day of learning about the eclipse. The students also watched a live stream to witness how a total eclipse looks.
