Today Ms. Jane from the library visited our class, and we learned all about squirrels! The students had so much fun — especially when it was time to paint using forks to create their furry-tailed artwork. Our 3rd grade students loved the Make a Flower activity today! They created their own paper flowers and pipe-cleaner bees, then “flew” their bees from flower to flower to see what happens to pollen during the process.
It was an exciting way to explore how pollination works — and to see our young scientists learning through creativity and play! #KMDolphins #MakingWavesAtKM #learnleadsucceedbpd3
