🌟🎉 What an amazing EL welcome event we had on Friday at Beach Park Middle School! 🎈📚
195 ELs (English Learners) came together to celebrate and connect with each other. We enjoyed delicious conchas, donuts, and refreshing juice, but the best part was the sense of community and pride in being ELs. 💪🌍
We were privileged to hear from various multilingual staff at our school who shared their wisdom and experiences, and a special thanks to Lissette Brito, the director of multilingual learners, for her inspiring words.
Our EL community is strong, vibrant, and united, and we can't wait for more wonderful moments like these in the future! 🤗❤️ #ELWelcomeEvent #ProudToBeELs #CommunityMatters

📚🍬 Mrs. Metzger's 6th Grade ELA Class had an amazing time diving into the world of literature! They explored "Boy" by Roald Dahl and got a sweet surprise - just like the characters in the book, they visited Mrs. Pratchett's candy shop (figuratively)! 🍭🍫
Our creative students not only read about it but also decided to make their very own candies. The classroom turned into a magical candy laboratory, and the results were absolutely delicious! 🧪👩🔬
The joy on our students' faces as they tasted their creations was priceless. It's a wonderful way to make the words in a book come to life. 📖🌟
