Did you know that our school is trying to collect 1,000 pounds of plastic film this school year to earn a bench? Your child can make a world of difference by doing something seemingly small. The BPMS Library & Office have recycling receptacles specifically labeled for your clean, dry plastics that meet the criteria of the NexTrex recycling challenge!

Next Saturday, Shan Kazmi is taking the ZBTHS Band to perform at the 2024 Illinois Music Educators Conference in Peoria. I cannot stress enough what an amazing recognition this is for him and his band and some of our former BPMS students. All the hard work that has gone into preparation for this is finally worthy of being recognized at the state level. This is a big deal - kind of like the Bears winning the Super Bowl. I’m so terribly proud of him and those kids. This is a shining moment for Zion-Benton D126 and I certainly hope the school and the community are recognizing what a huge accomplishment this is for the band program and for the school and community at large. If you can help cover some of the travel expenses, you can do so using this link, anything you can contribute is appreciated! https://omella.com/t62xi. Come out and hear them Monday night at their preview concert - 7pm in the ZBTHS auditorium.

Today in 6th grade ELA class, students, supported their opinion with evidence and reasoning. You can't tell from the screenshot, but the reasoning was a classic middle school answer. #BathroomJokes #MiddleSchool #BPMSstudentsROCK #CER #WouldYouRatherWednesday
