In our staff spotlight this week is Ms. Gorski! She brings joy to our school through her music program. Here's what she has to say to introduce herself:
🎶I enjoy playing my flute outside of school, such as at orchestra and in church, spending time with my dog, and I really enjoy going to the gym and spending time outside going for walks in any local forest preserve. 🐾🌲Lastly, since music is a huge part of my life, I also like going to concerts when I can. In the past two months, I have seen 30 Seconds To Mars, AFI, Green Day, and even the musical called the Book of Mormon.
Ms. Gorski also is leading the choir for a second year. She says, "We are in our second year of choir and we are almost at 20 kids this year! I’m super excited to see us keep growing and share our love of singing. We are working on our musical called 'The North Pole Radio Hour' that we will be performed on December 10th."
Fun facts:
🏆 She has two championship trophies from two different sports that were won in the same year.👩🏼🎓 She was the first person in my family to graduate college and is a huge fan of Nebraksa.
🥎 She also played softball in college and was their starting right fielder!
