It's Bus Safety Week! 🚌 Let’s keep our kids safe: Always stop when you see flashing red lights or a stop sign on a school bus. Never pass a bus when it’s loading or unloading children. Stay alert in school zones and obey speed limits. Let’s all work together to protect our students! #BusSafetyWeek

Mrs. Flader’s 7th grade ELA class recently participated Quiz Quiz Trade, reviewing parts of the brain! 🧠 According to their website, Kagan structures like "Quiz Quiz Trade "promote cooperation and communication in the classroom, boost students' confidence and retain their interest in classroom interaction." #BPMSstudentsROCK #CooperativeLearning #BPMSteachersROCK

Throwing it back 21 years to the original BPMS Boys' Basketball team! 🏀 Time flies, but the passion for the game never fades. Excited to see the next generation hit the court at the 2024-2025 tryouts! Best of luck to all the future stars out there. #TBT #BPMSAthletics #Hoops

Congratulations, Ms. Marchand, on winning a scholarship to attend the Turning the Tide in Reading Instruction conference! Our school is grateful to have a reading interventionist who cares so much about excellence on behalf of her students! #BPMSteachersROCK #TheScienceOfReading

Parents, as the weather gets colder and your child starts to wear more clothing layers, please take note that our school temporarily holds items in the "Lost and Found". To prevent your child's belongings from being lost, please consider labeling their water bottles, headphones, and coats/jackets/hats/etc. with their first and last name. ✍🏼 That way , trachers can help lost items become found. 😁👌🏼 Parents of sixth graders, there is a 6th grade specific lost & found. The tub is located in the 6th grade hallway, and is full of unclaimed, unlabeled sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, and more. (See photo). (Check with the office for the school wide lost and found.) 🏫☎️📧

Parents, please remember that there is a late bus available for after school clubs, activities, and sports. Parents can also pick up their child at 4:00pm.

Just a quick reminder: There will be no school on Monday, October 14, as we observe Indigenous Peoples Day.

Just a reminder if you plan on going on the Washington DC Trip, please make sure you register before midnight tonight, October 11th to reserve your spot!

It is time to celebrate our amazing Instructional Coach! Ms. Alexa Young is the Instructional Coach at BPMS. Teachers, remember that Ms. Young's office is always open for a pep talk, a cup of coffee, and tips to improve your practice. #JustAskAlexa
