
Students at Oak Crest had a blast during Fun Friday tonight! Students got to watch a movie, play in the gym, play video and board games, and make arts and crafts! Students and staff had so much fun!








5th grade students in Ms. Lukas's class presented their diorama's of different spheres of Earth. Students worked really hard, and the dioramas turned out great!






Kindergarten students practiced writing their sight words outside with chalk! Students loved doing their learning outside!



1st grade students in Mrs. Brockway's class were having fun exploring shapes with hands on centers! Students had so much fun exploring, and creating with shapes!






2nd and 3rd grade students were rehearsing for their music concert, that's coming up this week!



Writing other people's names is a very important skill! One of our kindergarten students was able to write all of his classmates names on a whiteboard!!!


2nd grade students in Ms. Sanchez's class, were working hard on their I-Ready lessons this afternoon!

1st grade students in Mrs. Albulescu's class were drawing shapes, and writing shape names on whiteboards.




5th grade students in Ms. Lukas's class were learning about the layers of Earth. After reading an article about Earth's layers, the class worked together and in partners to answer questions about Earth's layers.




1st grade students in Mrs. Brockway's class love writing in their journals!


Students celebrated Valentine's Day today in their classes! They exchanged valentines, made heart crafts, and had lots of yummy snacks!




Kindergarten students in Mrs. Winiger's class, were practicing how to read a book today in class! This builds a great foundation to learn how to read!

5th grade students from Mrs. Singleton's class, were learning about the Earth's 4 different spheres today!


Students got to purchase snacks from the fun cart today, that's provided from our fabulous PTO! Students were so excited, and they loved their treats!!






4th grade students were playing go fish with synonyms and antonyms, during their reading time!


5th grade students in Ms. Luka's class were practicing answering questions from passages using text evidence!




Today we celebrated all of our students who made their growth goal in I-Ready reading, and math! Students and staff are very proud of their accomplishments!!





1st grade students were working hard during their math time today! Students were either working on math I-Ready, or working with a teacher!!
