We are so thankful for our Lunchroom/Playground Supervisors! Ms. Martha has been with us for 4 years, Ms. Wontaya for 3 years and this is Ms. Jessica and Ms. Bessie's first year at Newport. We appreciate all of your hard work, your patience and the kindness that you show our students. The playground & lunchroom are a much safer and better place because of you!

Today during gym, 3rd and 4th grades played Medic dodgeball. Both classes chose to play boys vs. girls.
Today in gym, Kindergarten played "Simon Says" and Duck, Duck, Goose. The 2nd graders played Alligator Tag where they had to plank & wait for a classmate to cross-tap opposite hands to be saved before they could play again.
Ms. Pellegrino's class is working on their "Thankful Turkeys!"
Our Teacher Assistant's & Library Assistant are the best! Ms. Hernandez has been with Newport for 4 of her 25 years with BPD3, Ms. Franco & Ms. Reak have been with us for 7 years, Ms. Knuth has been with us for 11 years and this is Ms. Larsen's first year at Newport! We appreciate ALL the work you do with our students on a daily basis to support the path to learning and the joy of reading! We are thankful for ALL of you!!

Today, we would like our Building Sub, Ms. Blair to know how thankful we are for her! This is Ms. Blair's 2nd year at Newport. However, she has been working for BPD3 for 16 years and is also a BPD3 graduate! Ms. Blair is the definition of a team player, she is always ready and willing to help in ANY capacity.
