Kindergarten got to read a book about trying new things and how sometimes you might feel scared or nervous and that's OK. Just like going to school is new for most kindergarteners, but we learned that it can be fun to make new friends and learn.

The 2nd grade met in Mrs. DeBennette's room to listen to a short story on "BEEing" Kind at school. After the story, the students made a Bee craft listing all the ways they can bee kind to others.
Mrs. Hogan's Kindergarteners "shopped" for books to put in their Read to Self book bins.
