Today, on Earth Day, is the perfect opportunity to give a shout out to the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)! 🌎 These students collect plastic film from classrooms each week. So far, our school has collected 860 pounds of plastic film, and we only have 140 pounds to go! The NexTrex Recycling challenge not only reduces waste, but it also helps our school earn a bench if we hit our 1,000 pound goal by May 20th! #EarthDayHeroes #NJHS #BPMSstudentsROCK

Six lucky students from each grade level had a pizza lunch with Deputy Fiore yesterday. These students submitted their eagle feathers, and their names were drawn in the raffle on our April SIP Day last week! Who doesn't love free pizza? 🍕 🍽️ 🎫
BPMS is proud of our two Destination Imagination teams that placed 1st and 2nd place at the state tournament earlier this month in both the fine arts and community service challenges.
We are raising funds to get to the world finals competition in May. The teams have a gofund me to help cover the costs to compete.

Destination ImagiNation is a popular competition where teams choose from five mind-bending STEM Team Challenges and learn theatrical, structural, improvisational, and scientific skills.

Congratulations to the Zion-Benton Symphonic Band on being invited to the 2024 Illinois SuperState Concert Band Festival at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on May 4, 2024. They are one of 22 bands invited by audition to compete.
After many years of audition tapes, this is their first time being invited to this capstone state festival. We are so proud of them!
