Congratulations to the Zion-Benton Symphonic Band on being invited to the 2024 Illinois SuperState Concert Band Festival at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on May 4, 2024. They are one of 22 bands invited by audition to compete.
After many years of audition tapes, this is their first time being invited to this capstone state festival. We are so proud of them!

Thank you to all Beach Park Community for coming out on Saturday, March 16th, to our annual Multicultural Festival. We had a wonderful time celebrating our diverse community, tasting a variety of different foods, watching live performances, and being able to see the creativity from our very own students through their artwork.

Shout out to Mr. Kassin for the sweet set up during 7th grade lunch! The March Madness (basketball) season is upon us, and thankfully, the game kept any pre-Spring Break "madness" away during lunch. What a great treat for students! 🏀🏀🏀

Students had a blast learning new skills after school at crochet club with Mrs. Nelson! Gaelle recently took Mrs. Nelson's crochet advisory class, and will be the first student to finish a stuffed animal. Way to go, Gaelle! 🐸🧶👩🏫 #BPMSstudentsROCK #BPMSteachersROCK

Last week at our SIP day, one area of focus was on positive affirmations as we prepared for the upcoming state testing. Self-confidence is so important to instill in students as they face new challenges. Keep up the great work, kids! #SocialEmotionalLearning

Even though our fun activities are on pause for the next couple of days, here's a throwback. These 7th graders look like they were enjoying the Science lab!

🔋 Friendly reminder to all students! This week is State Testing Week, and it's crucial to bring your Chromebooks fully charged every day. The IAR test is an annual event, so let's come prepared to excel and show what we've learned! Let's do our best together! 💪

District librarian, Jeanne' Aken, and Charlie Ongena, Elementary Library Coordinator represented BPD3 at the Zion Benton Public Library during their Family Resource Fair. They shared the Merge Cube with children in the community. #BPDteachersROCK
