E-Learning

Dear Beach Park Families,

The National Weather Service is forecasting dangerously low wind chill temperatures, ranging between -19°F  and -27°F, during the early morning hours tomorrow.

Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our students, Winthrop Harbor District 1, and Zion Elementary District 6 will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Zion Benton High Township High School District 126 and Beach Park District 3 will have an e-learning day, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.  All Beach Park Schools will follow their schools regular schedule.  Please visit your teachers Google Classroom for a Google Meets link, and further direction.  If you encounter any technology issues, please email mminer@bpd3.org directly and someone will reach out to assist you.  Attendance will be taken in each Google Meets link, so please make sure your student is present for learning and on time.

If you have any questions, please contact your school principal.  We appreciate your support and understanding in making these difficult decisions on behalf of our students and staff.

Please stay safe and warm.

In Partnership,

Dr. Denise Wilcox, Superintendent Beach Park District 3

Dr. Jesse Rodriguez, Superintendent Zion Benton Township High School District 126

Dr. Julius Lawson, Superintendent Zion Benton Elementary District 6

Mr. Jeff McCarthy, Superintendent Winthrop Harbor District 1
