Helena & Yesenia were the 5th grade announcers this week. We are so proud of them for stepping outside of their comfort zone, they did a great job!
The 1st graders are exploring the primary colors in a mash-up through paint. The students experimented with alternative painting tools: cotton ball, cotton tip and a foam brush. They dabbed, dotted and dragged the paint all over.

Mr. Shore's class had a fun challenge in library today. They had to build a bridge to get a car safely over the water. Xcaret, Giancarlo and Roman were successful!

Newport Family STEM Night is Tuesday, September 26th!
CUB Scout Pak 663 will be at each of the Beach Park elementary schools tomorrow evening, September 19, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Picture Day is Wednesday, October 4!
5th grade students were able to burn off some energy by playing a throwing game in gym at the end of the day!
In honor of Patriot Day, several Newport students made cards and wrote letters to show their appreciation for our very own Beach Park Fire Department. The Staff & Students of Newport school, thank you for your service!
First grade made puppets to go along with their Kevin Henkes Author Study, where they learned about many of the different mice characters in a handful of the books they read in class.
