Our Teacher Assistant's & Library Assistant are the best! Ms. Hernandez has been with Newport for 4 of her 25 years with BPD3, Ms. Franco & Ms. Reak have been with us for 7 years, Ms. Knuth has been with us for 11 years and this is Ms. Larsen's first year at Newport! We appreciate ALL the work you do with our students on a daily basis to support the path to learning and the joy of reading! We are thankful for ALL of you!!

Today, we would like our Building Sub, Ms. Blair to know how thankful we are for her! This is Ms. Blair's 2nd year at Newport. However, she has been working for BPD3 for 16 years and is also a BPD3 graduate! Ms. Blair is the definition of a team player, she is always ready and willing to help in ANY capacity. Today, we would like our Food Service Staff, Ms. Maria & Ms. Claudia to know how thankful we are for them! Ms. Maria & Ms. Claudia work very hard every day to make sure our student's have a hot and healthy lunch. (Always with a smile!) We are so thankful for you!

Student's SIP day challenge was called "Mayflower Ship." They had to build their version of the Mayflower, which would support the "Pilgrims." Our first and third grade students had some success!

Today, we would like our custodian Mr. DeBennette, to know how thankful we are for him! This is Mr.D's first year as a custodian at Newport. However, he is a retired BPD3 teacher of 33 years, 3 of which were at Newport. We are so thankful for all that you do!
Mrs Parmley’s artists are practicing “Dot, dot, not a lot” with the glue bottle. The artists cut there trees last week and are now creating the fall tree with tissue paper.
