Mrs. Maki's class had some fun characters and fancy outfits to end Reading Week! Today was "Happy B-Day Dr. Seuss! Dress like your favorite Dr. Seuss character or wear a fancy outfit!"
We also had future Police Officers and Teachers present today! So many students had fun dressing for "Oh the Places You'll Go! Dress like what you want to be when you grow up" day!
Newport was lucky enough to have a few Doctors in our presence today!f
Congratulations to Remington who is our eWallet raffle winner! Remington received an extra $10 to spend at the Book Fair!

What a difference a day makes in the temperature! Today the students enjoyed indoor recess due to the cold temperature. Mrs. Squires's class had fun stacking cups and playing Apples to Apples Jr.
When it's 70 degrees in February, you move Math outdoors!! Mrs. Meyers & Mrs. Babbe's classes decided to partner up and use a Kaegan strategy of Rally coach to complete a worksheet together.
Our Kindergarten and First grade students were loving the warm weather for recess today!
Mrs. Meyers class did a Kagan Team Building activity called "Build the Picture" this afternoon.
