
Mrs. Pellegrino's 1st graders enjoying 100 days of learning!

Mrs. Maki's class had fun celebrating the 100th day of school!





Mrs. Gorski's 1st grade class celebrated the 100th day of school by making headbands and wearing their 100 glasses. They made a guess of how many of an exercise they could do in 100 seconds... up first was arm circles!!!

Mrs. Parmley's class is enjoying celebrating the 100th day of school!!!!! The kids had to cover their 100 chart with cereal and got to eat the cereal as they colored their charts.







Kindergarten started their day today with a special guest reader, Dr. Garris, who read 100 School Days to celebrate the 100th day of school!!!



Newport's PTO Sponsored Dance, A Night Under the Stars was just magical!







Mrs. Pellegrino's first graders had a busy week!


Second graders made monsters and used adjectives to describe them in their writing.



We can't wait to see you tomorrow for our PTO sponsored dance for A Night Under the Stars! The dance begins at 3:30!

Nelson and Jesus were the 5th grade announcers this week. They did a great job!!


4th & 5th grade students were thrilled to have outdoor recess with friends. Tyler found the coolest heart-shaped ice!




Mr. Shore's class is working on a Parking Lot for summarizing.



Congratulations to Bader for winning our school Spelling Bee today! Bader will be moving on to sectionals in Waukegan at the end of February. We are so proud of ALL of our 4th & 5th grade students who participated! 1st Place: Bader, 2nd Place: Katherine, 3rd Place: Tyler








Today in Library,
~ Mrs. Senft's 2nd graders activity was "Flower Power" and they were challenged to use Legos to build a tower to support a flower. The tower had to be tall/stury enough to hold a rose up and not lean more than 10 degrees either way. Great job!
~Mrs. Gorski's 1st graders activity was "Tallest Tree by the Sea" and they were challenged to use Legos to build the tallest tree! Great job!



In Library, Mrs. Babbe's 3rd graders were challenged by Mr. Ongena to build a bridge only using Legos to cross over the road. The bridge had to be sturdy enough to hold a miniature cast iron elephant without falling down! They all did a great job & there was a lot of creativity!




Mrs. Parmley's kindergarten class is proof that hard work pays off in gym!

2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade learning how to play “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, “Muffin Man”, “Mary Had a Little Lamb” and “Row Row Row Your Boat” on the rainbow bells!









Beach Park School District 3 Elementary Schools will have a two-hour delay today due to the icy road conditions. Middle School students will start at regular time.
