Josiah won Ms. Knuth's Scholastic Book Fair Challenge! There were 129 starbursts in the jar and Josiah guessed the correct amount!

In music class with Ms. Babington we learned the song “Bounce High”, learned the solfège notes mi, so, and la, and worked on steady beat.



Students found a fun way to spend recess time!

Mrs. Gorski’s 1st grade class met their stamina goal in record time and celebrated with a donut party! “We can do hard things in 1st Grade” is their motto!!

Where would we be without our wonderful Mr. DeBennette? He keeps our school running smoothly! Did you know he was actually a 3rd grade teacher here at Newport before transitioning to maintenance? Newport is grateful for all he does.
