Today is the day! Join the Beach Park Network of Excellence (BPNE) for its Dine with Purpose kickoff event this evening.

📍 The Shanty (38985 N. US-41, Wadsworth)

Dine at The Shanty during this time and a portion of the proceeds will support grants, scholarships, and innovative programs for our students and educators.

Good morning, District 3 families,

Please be advised that we are moving forward with in-person learning today. Because of the cold weather, we ask that you please ensure your students dress warmly with heavy coats, hats, and gloves.

We understand if you prefer to keep your child home due to the conditions; if you choose to do so, please notify the school office and the absence will be excused.

Students in Mrs. Smith's 5th grade class took part in a jigsaw activity to teach their group mates about a historic natural disaster in Illinois. Every pair in the group was responsible for researching one of the disasters and presenting their findings to the group. #newportstars #learnleadsucceedbpd3

3rd grade students were challenged to create a house that could withstand the weather with Mrs. Meyer. They used fans to make wind. Given toothpicks and paper clip, they had to redesign their house to make it sturdier. #newportstars #learnleadsucceedbpd3
