Good Afternoon Beach Park Families,
I am communicating today to share a new initiative we are implementing this year in order to celebrate our learning community, acknowledge efforts to live the District mission, and model the District’s theme this year of, “Sparking Curiosity and Igniting CORE Memories.”
The Award is called, “The District Champion Award.” Each month, November through May, at the Board of Education meetings, the Board will honor students, staff, parents, and community members who represent the values and vision supporting the Beach Park District 3 mission to, "empower our students to learn, lead, and succeed as a connected community". Honorees will receive an acknowledgement of this award in the form of a pin and a magnet at a Board of Education Meeting and highlights will be shared how this person is representing OUR District mission, and theme of, “Sparking curiosity and igniting CORE memories,” for everyone.
Anyone can nominate someone within the Beach Park Learning Community (students, staff, parents, or community members.) Nominations will be accepted from the day after each month’s board meeting until two Fridays before the next month’s board meeting.
