Dear Beach Park Middle School Families and Staff,
We are excited to share that Autumn Parrish will be joining Beach Park Middle School as Assistant Principal for the 2025-2026 school year!
For Autumn, this is more than a new role - it’s a return home. A proud alum of Beach Park schools, Autumn attended Newport, “Big Beach,” and Kenneth Murphy Jr. High, long before BPMS opened in 2001. Her connection to this community runs deep, and her passion for its continued growth is clear.
Autumn brings extensive experience as an assistant principal right here in Lake County, where she has led instructional teams, supported school improvement efforts, and built strong relationships with staff, students, and families. She has a strong foundation in curriculum and instruction, adult learning, and change leadership. Her systems-level work in MTSS and experience in various educational roles have strengthened her commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices. She believes strongly in the power of collaboration among educators as the key to meaningful change - especially in support of students from diverse backgrounds.
She is eager to get to know the BPMS team and to learn more about your goals for the future. With a spirit of partnership, she looks forward to continuing the important work of building a school culture where students are challenged, supported, and truly known.
Outside of school, Autumn is a mom to Ollie (11), Fritz (3), and Harper (1). She enjoys gardening, crocheting, reading, crafting and writing. She also shares a fun fact - her husband, David, was her classmate in Mrs. Martinelli’s sixth-grade class!
Please join us in welcoming Autumn Parrish to the BPMS team!
Yours in Partnership,
Dr. Denise Wilcox
Superintendent
