Dear Beach Park Families,
I would like to inform you about an incident that occurred today after school hours at Beach Park Middle School. Our school administration received a threat via email. This is an example of See Something, Say Something working in our District.
Upon receiving the email, our administrative team immediately followed District protocols and contacted the necessary authorities as well as the District Office. An investigation was conducted in collaboration with law enforcement and is still in progress. The threat is not viable, and no students or staff are or were in any danger.
We understand that incidents like this can cause concern, and we want to reassure you that we are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. Our District will continue to work proactively to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community.
Thank you for your trust and support and for Seeing Something and Saying Something. We take all threats very seriously, and the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the district office or to the Beach Park Middle School administrative team.
In Partnership,
Dr. Denise Wilcox
Superintendent
