Registration for New Students

Registration will be performed online:

Students can enroll in full-day kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year if they turn five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2024 (Date of Birth on or before September 1, 2019).

Kinder Meet & Greet will be on April 10, 2024 at 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Click here to see the flyer.

If your student does not meet the age cut-off requirement for kindergarten, they may qualify for "Early Entrance to Kindergarten." You must apply by submitting an application (English / Spanish) to the Gifted, Talented, and Accelerated Placement Coordinator by June 1, 2024. For information on "Early Entrance," please contact our Gifted, Talented, and Accelerated Placement Coordinator, Mrs. Marie Gehrig, at 847-596-5839 or mgehrig@bpd3.org by June 1st, 2024. 

For information regarding our Early Childhood Program (Pre-K) for students with special needs, please contact the Office of Student Services at 847-599-5056. Before registering, students must be screened and approved for the Early Childhood Program (Pre-K).

Please review the Document Required section below for a list of documents that will need to be uploaded during the online registration process.

New Students must be registered no later than August 5, 2024, to attend the first day of school (August 21, 2024)

Documents Required

During the New Student Online Registration process, you will be required to upload the following documents:

  1. Student's Official Birth Certificate

  2. Parent's ID (example: driver's license)

  3. Legal Guardianship Documents, if applicable

  4. Illinois Transfer Form (ISBE-33-78) for students previously enrolled in an Illinois Public School.  This form is provided to you from the previous school. If your student attended an out-of-state or private school, please provide their Grade Report. 

  5. Proof of Residency Documents:

    1. One (1) document from Category 1

    2. Two (2) documents from Category 2

If the student is residing with a District Resident, the District Resident must provide the documents requested above, along with an Affidavit (2023-24 Affidavit / 2024-25 Affidavit) confirming the student and parent(s)/legal guardian(s) reside at their place of residency. In addition, the parent (s)/legal guardian(s) living with the  District Resident must provide TWO (2) current Category 2 documents in their name,  mailed to the address of the District Resident.

Please upload your student's health records with the new student registration. If it is not provided at the time of registration, we ask that you provide the health records to your student's school on/before their first day of school.

Bus Transportation

For Bus Transportation information click here

New student bus transportation information will be available on the Parent Portal. Students who are not registered by August 5, 2024, may have a delay in receiving bus transportation and may need to be dropped off and picked up from school by their parent/guardian until bus transportation is assigned.
