Dear Beach Park District 3 Families,
It has come to our attention that there is a new and dangerous TikTok Trend that involves students shoving objects, specifically graphite/led pencils, paperclips, and other dangerous objects into outlets and Chromebook ports. While we work hard to keep students safe, we are asking for families to have conversations with their children about the risks associated with participating in activities like this, The physical risk to themselves and others is deeply concerning. Students who participate in this trend will receive significant consequences as it is an incredible risk to the safety of everyone in any building due to the risk of fire or electrocution.
