Powerschool Parent Portal
The PowerSchool Parent Portal gives parents access to real-time information including attendance, grades, detailed assignment descriptions, school bulletins, and so much more! Everyone stays connected; parents are able to participate more fully in their student's progress, and teachers can use their gradebook to make decisions and share information with parents.
Full Site vs. Mobile App
In the PowerSchool Parent Portal full site (desktop site) you have access to far more information than you do in the mobile app. While the mobile app is convenient and can be used day-to-day, it is recommended you log into the full site no less than once a week.

In the PowerSchool Parent Portal you will have access to:
Grades and Attendance: Use this page to view the grades and attendance for the student in the current term. The legend at the bottom of the page displays the attendance codes and their meanings.
Missing Assignments: Use this page to view missing assignments (if any) for the student.
Grade History: Use this page to view trimester grades for the student for the current term.
Attendance History: Use this page to view the attendance record for the student in the current term. The legend at the bottom of the page displays the attendance codes and their meanings.
Test Results: Use this page to view the test results for the student. See scores for Explore, Access, and more.
Bus Route Information: Displays the student's current bus route number, stop, and time for both AM and PM routes.
Email Notification: If you wish to receive information about your student's grades, attendance, account balance, and assignment scores use this page to set up your e-mail preferences. You can specify which information you would like to receive and how often you would like to receive the information in e-mail.
Teacher Comments: Use this page to view any comments that teachers entered regarding items such as the student's achievement or behavior.
Student Reports: Use this page to view/download report cards, transcripts, etc.
School Bulletin: Use this page to access the school calendar.
Class Registration: Use this page to view registration information as well as technology information.
Balance: Use this page to view school fees balance and lunch account balance as well as transactions for the current school year.
Student Logs: Use this page to view a cumulative list of log entries both behavior and other.
My Schedule: Use this page to view schedule information for the selected student for the current school year in either week view or matrix view.
School Information: This page contains the name, address, phone number, and fax number for your child’s school.
Account Preferences: Use this page to change your personal account preferences such as your password.
Year Round Update: On this screen you have the ability to update your contact information and emergency contact information at any time throughout the school year.
Adaptive Scheduler: Use this page to view a matrix of the school and student's adaptive schedule sessions.
Your PowerSchool Parent Portal Account:
Upon enrolling your child in Beach Park School District we will create your parent portal account. Follow these steps to retrieve your account information:
Log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal: https://bpd3.powerschool.com/public/
Click on “Forgot Username or Password?”.
Click on the “Forgot Username” tab.
Enter the email address you submitted to the school district.
Log into your email and open the “PowerSchool Username Request” email.
Note your username. Click the link to return to the PowerSchool Parent Portal sign in page.
Click on “Forgot Username or Password?”.
Click on the “Forgot Password” tab.
Enter your username and email address.
Log into your email and open the “PowerSchool Password Reset Request” email.
Click the link in the email.
Enter your username and create a new password.
Congratulations! You are now logged into the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Remember your username and password for future use.
PowerSchool App for Parents/Guardians and Students:
Parents, guardians, and students can access real-time student information and gain insight on assignments, grades, attendance and so much more in the PowerSchool mobile app. With the PowerSchool mobile app parents, guardians, and students can receive real-time notifications with updates about grades and attendance.
Beach Park School District’s code is QMGP you will need to enter this the first time you use the parent app.
