Please join us in welcoming Tim Jansky as the new Director of Building and Grounds for Beach Park District 3!
Tim brings over a decade of experience in facilities and construction management, with a strong foundation in both daily operations and long range planning. Most recently he served at Township High School District 113 in Highland Park, where he led a team of more than 30 staff and oversaw a wide range of building operations. His leadership ensured safe, efficient, and functional learning environments - experience that translates seamlessly to our district’s five schools.
Tim’s ability to manage the complexities of multiple campuses is grounded in a career focused on project management, logistics, and long-term operational planning. From day-to-day maintenance to coordinating large-scale renovations, he understands how to support a district with diverse building needs while balancing short- and long-term goals.
His hands-on approach and commitment to collaboration with staff, students, contractors, engineers, and architects will be essential in maintaining and enhancing the spaces where our students learn and grow. With a background that also includes FEMA disaster response and public infrastructure, Tim brings a high level of preparedness and adaptability - two qualities that are especially valuable in ensuring our schools remain safe and operational in all circumstances.
As a local resident, Tim is deeply invested in this community and passionate about supporting the success of BPD3. He’s already focused on preparing our building for the upcoming school year and is eager to get to know each school’s individual character and needs.
Tim is excited to be a part of the BPD3 team and is eager to hit the ground running. We are confident that his leadership, experiences, and community centered mindset will be a great asset to our district.
