BPMS Basketball and cheerleading tryouts are coming!In order to try out, all students must have a valid sports physical (within the past 365 days) BEFORE they can try out. $35.00 sports physicals are available at the Walgreen’s in Gurnee (Grand Ave.) and in Libertyville (Route 137). Students must try out in the school gym suit (no outside organization jerseys). Boys Basketball Tryouts: Wednesday, October 12th and Thursday, October 13th from 2:00-4:30 Girls Basketball Tryouts: Wednesday, October 12th and Thursday, October 13th from 4:30-6:30 Cheerleading Tryouts: Tryouts the week of October 3rd . ** A $50.00 sports fee will be collected from those who make the team at a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, October 13 at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. There will be a $50.00 per student sports fee for participation in each interscholastic (against other schools) sports, or a maximum of $100.00 per student for 2 or more sports. These include: Girls' Softball, Co-ed Soccer, Cross Country, Cheerleading, Basketball, Volleyball, and Track & Field.
