Announcement

Parents:

The 7th and 8th grade Girls’ Basketball home game on Thursday, November 19th has been rescheduled to Friday, November 20th. The games will begin at 4PM here at BPMS. This change is due to a schedule conflict with the band concert that was previously scheduled for the 19th.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

In order to try out/participate in a BPMS sport, students must:

  1. Have a completed tryout sheet signed by all teachers.
  2. Have a current sports physical (this is required by IESA regulations).
  3. Not be currently on social probation*.

No exceptions will be made to the above conditions.

* Social probation is defined in the BPMS discipline policy as being prohibited from participating in all school activities for a period of 5 school days for every 1 day of out of school suspension.(For example, a 3 day out of school suspension would earn 15 school days of social probation.)

Important Notice

By IESA (Illinois Elementary School Association) Policy, "Students must have a sports physical on file with the health office BEFORE they will be allowed to participate in tryouts, practices, and/or games."
