  • Beach Park Middle School Event - Invitation (you should have received via email) My name is Gabriel Cappozzo, the PBIS External Coach in Beach Park School District. I am reaching out to invite you to an upcoming fundraiser for Beach Park Middle School and ALS. We are doing a Bucket Challenge to raise funds for both, where the proceeds from the event will be split between the two. In doing so we are looking for ways to get the community involved in our initiative. At this point in time we have confirmation from the Winthrop Harbor and Beach Park fire departments to bring a couple of their trucks to the event to assist in filling our buckets. The buckets that we will be using are Orange and Black Halloween buckets that will then be given to the participating students for the upcoming holiday. It is our intention to gather as many students as possible, 300 would be great, to do the challenge all at once in our field behind the school. We are coordinating this effort in support of our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) model that encourages our students to be Safe, Responsible, and Respectful, where the additional funds raised will go toward student incentives to be rewarded for exemplifying these character traits that support our buildings culture. Currently we have also received confirmation from the Zion newspaper that they will be here to cover the story, and have extended an invitation to the News Sun to be here for coverage of our initiative. Video will be taken by our technology team to be posted on our website and Facebook page. If you could find time in your schedule, your presence at our event would be welcomed. The date for this event is scheduled for the 26th of September at 1:00pm.

  • School Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 1:55 p.m.

Students may not enter the building until 7:20 a.m.,
    except during inclement weather.
